Governance Structure

Call of the Earth is comprised of a Steering Committee, Circle, Circle of Cultural Guardians and Circle of Friends.

The Steering Committee is the governing body of Call of the Earth and is comprised of 9 indigenous experts serving in their individual capacities.

The Call of the Earth Circle is a forum for indigenous experts and representatives to address policy issues.

Other experts, as well as institutions, are invited to act as resource persons to the Circle and Steering Committee through the Circle of Friends.

The wisdom and perspectives of indigenous elders and shamans are brought into Call of the Earth Processes through the Circle of Cultural Guardians.

Call of the Earth is staffed by a full-time Director.

Call of the Earth policy analysis is developed through Call of the Earth Circle processes, is assisted by the work of indigenous experts acting as consultants for Call of the Earth.
