Call of the Earth Llamado de la Tierra is an independent indigenous controlled initiative that supports and enables indigenous peoples to reframe the discussions and negotiations on intellectual property rights and traditional knowledge that are occurring in a wide range of forum, through our own perspectives and from within our own cultures.

Traditional Knowledge Defenders Network
A future project of Call of the Earth Llamado de la Tierra is the establishment of a legal defence fund and network to assist indigenous communities to protect their cultural and intellectual property, and to seek redress in cases of misappropriation.
The Traditional Knowledge Defenders Network is a global network of indigenous and non-indigenous people willing to provide support, advice and assistance to indigenous communities and nations who are wanting to ensure their cultural heritage is adequately protected. Individuals who wish to submit their names to the roster of the TK Defenders Network can do so by contacting: aroha@earthcall.org. Lawyers, Scientists, Researchers, Teachers, Health practitioners, community leaders and others in civil society willing and able to provide assistance when required.
